Festival’s Opening Night “Supper in the Streets and Fireworks”

In collaboration with Ville de Saint-Honoré, The Festival presents its opening night! You are invited to come join us in the streets of Saint-Honoré to enjoy fun and numerous activities. Starting at 17:00, animation and games, followed by the municipal cocktail at 17:30. On the menu: Tourtière supper at 18:00, proceeded by dancing and concerts throughout the night. Last but not least, to conclude the evening, a great show of fireworks will be presented at 22:30.

Tickets will be sold for the price of $5 and will be available in Saint-Honoré’s participating stores on June 1st:

17:00 – Games and Animation

Starting at 17:00, we await you with your children. On place :

• Inflatable playgrounds
• Animation with Le Patro
• Kite-making workshops

17:00 to 21:00 – Bubble Foot

Returning once again this year, you will have the opportunity to participate in a great activity: Bubble Foot!

Come and enjoy this humorous and entertaining game with your family and friends, all this in a safe and supervised environment.

17:00 to 21:00 – Giant Baby Foot

You love playing as a team? This game was made for you! More than 48’ x 27’ area to play with 12 people! This game is based on the original baby foot game except that humans are the ones to kick and block! Hours of fun guaranteed!

*This activity will take place on the ice rink

17:00 – Kite Demonstrations

You might have the chance to see our kite-flyers showing off their skills during the “Supper in the Streets”. Come and interact with them about their grand passion. They will be more than happy to discuss it with you.

17:30 to 19:30 – Cocktail Hour with “Groove du Lac”

Cocktail hour kicks off with Alma college’s jazz group “Groove du Lac”.

The Alma College has been building up its reputation as the best musical center in all the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, since 1970, where classical and Jazz formations create the perfect mix. Come enjoy a musical and rhythmic evening with this immensely talented group of students.

18:00 – Supper is Served

The tourtière supper service will begin at 6 p.m. Come early to reserve your seats.

19:30 to 20:30 – Line Dancing with Pascale Dufour

Come join the line dancing universe with Pascale Dufour! You are sure to enjoy yourself and laugh with this passionate and dynamic teacher. You will feel at ease with her simple and easy-going personality as she shares her passion and experience in the space of one evening.


20:30 to 22:30 – Feature Show: “Cowboys Recherchés”

A 100% pure country evening awaits you with lifetime musicians forming the group “Cowboys Recherchés”. It is through different organisations (Cirque du Soleil, Québec Issime, Rock Voisine, Lara Fabian and many more) that the artists met and decided to come together to for the “Cowboys Recherchés”. Full of energy and always ready for a party, our 6 cowboys (from the Sagunenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region) will make you swing and shake all night to the music of Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Patsy Cline, Shania Twain, and many more.

22:30 – Fireworks

Saint-Honoré’s traditional Fireworks are back for another year!

Our quality fireworks, lighting up to a carefully picked musical score, are sure to mesmerize children as well as adults.

Bar, Hot Dogs and Snacks on Site

A bar and snackbar will stay open throughout the evening to serve hot dogs, beverages and other snacks to feed your little cravings.
